Wakefield Excavation LLC is a specialty contractor focused on ecological restoration and infrastructure projects, with a proven ability to operate in remote and challenging environments. Our fleet is specifically tailored for environmental work, equipped with bio-fluid, grapples, specialized guarding, and low-impact machinery designed to protect sensitive ecosystems while delivering efficient, high-quality results. Our company started with one side dump when it was founded in 2020 by Rik Lewis, McLaren Lewis, and Kevin Corbin. Our fleet has continuously grown since to meet the needs of the industry. Combining Rik’s vast experience in the business world, and McLaren and Kevin’s tenure in the construction industry, our company is expanding quickly. This led us to join the Western Carpenters union and Operators union in 2025.
